You want more? OK!
Before Oberlin, I was lucky to be at Princeton High School of Cincinnati. It had top-quality academics and award-winning music and theater, all guided by excellent teachers.
My
life was enriched and changed forever by Theater Director Jhon Marshall and Choir Director Joann Meier. I thank and honor
them.

Cincinnati May Festival Youth Chorus: Cincinnati, OH. Robert Porco. Ohio All-State Choir: Bi-annual choir of high school singers. (Freshman and Junior years.) Vocal Chamber Ensemble: PHS, David Kirkendall. A Capella Choir: PHS, Joanne Meier. + Church choirs and school choirs in elementary school and junior high school
In
7th through 12th grades, I sang with vocal ensembles at the annual Ohio Music Education Association Solo and Ensemble Contest
in one of the top two classes (A or B). We earned ratings of mostly I's (Superior) and some II's (Excellent). In 9th through 12th grades, I also prepared Class A operatic solos and received three I's and a II.
At the earliest possible grade (10th), I was chosen for the school's best A Capella Choir, as well as the select Vocal Chamber Ensemble. The A Capella Choir performed
at the annual large-group Contest within Class AA (the highest), receiving ratings of I or II each year. For Commencement,
one male and I were chosen for two solos in the theme song, "Forever Young," performed by the seniors of the Vocal Chamber
Ensemble.
